Cips

Cips Shrimp Cipriani

If you don’t like snow, living in Colorado during the winter can be very depressing.

One of the best things you can do to get yourself out of the funky seasonal depression is to go on vacation to a warmer place. This week my family and I vacationed to Sanibel, Florida. It was my first time ever coming here and it definitely won’t be my last.

We went to a place called “Cips” and I got the Shrimp Cipriani.

It was simply just shrimp, sauteed in white wine with pancetta, roasted garlic, artichoke hearts, and a linguine with a kind of creamy sauce.

This meal was delicious!

It was rather large, but, I ate almost the whole thing because it was just so dang delicious! Thus, I couldn’t stop munching it.

I would rate the overall experience a 7 out of 10.

I will give the Shrimp Cipriani a 9, because it was delicious.

The service was very mediocre, not terrible but not anything special.

The waitresses were pretty friendly and attentive, but the food was very slow to come out. So, I’d rate the service at around a 7.

The atmosphere was fairly dark and a bit loud, but, it was alright and it didn’t bother me. So, I’ll go ahead and give that a 8.

Would I come back here? Absolutely.

I was not, on any level, put off by the experience. My review of the service was merely an observation. My main goal when I review food on here is to remain neutral and to relay to my loyal readers truth.

If you ever find yourself looking for a relaxing, quiet, vacation I highly recommend checking out Sanibel Island!
