Ocean prime

Ahi and lobster.

Hey Honeys,

This weekend, I ate at one of the fanciest restaurants I think I’ve ever been to: Ocean Prime.

The first thing I noticed when I walked in was the upscale atmosphere and the fact that the hostess was wearing a Vivienne Westwood necklace. I knew I must be in the right place.

I started my meal by ordering a cocktail called ‘berries and bubbles‘.

Basically, it was a fizzy bubbling concoction of vodka, black and red berries, champagne, and dry ice.


I also immediately ordered a prime steak tartare as an appetizer which was quite good.

Our waiter, Tom, was so friendly and attentive, he was a 12/10. He was great! Another thing that let me know I was in a really fancy place was that a man came by mid meal to scrape the crumbs off the table cloth with a little metal tool.

For dinner I ordered the Ahi tuna which came with a side salad of mango, avocado, cashew, and soy glaze. I got a lobster tail with it, which can be added to any item on the menu for only $28.

I would rate my dinner a 9/10 on the delicious scale. The only thing I wish is that it came with some mash potatoes or something on the side as well.

The over all experience was really positive. The staff was great, the food was delicious, and the atmosphere was classy. The one thing I will say is that if you go here be prepared to spend a lot of money!
